Bob used to have his steel in a keyboard gig bag.
I bought one and felt the guiatr wasn't quite protected enough. Now i use one of these..

Ive got a case, with wheels, but cant lift it in and out of the car!

I thought a gig bag would be ok, keep the legs out and pedal bar..

I might be able to manage it.

how about investing in a split case? Light weight? might be better?

Speak to Bob Adams, he had a very lightweight case, looked like a normal steel case, covered in same material as a gig bag, it had wheels and extending handle.I used to use a Gig Bag, added thin ply covered in foam to inside, ok if using your own car and placed on back seat,( never put in boot after seeing damage done to Willie Gambles Emmons when bus ran into rear of his car.Rembember front and rear of modern cars are "crumple zones" made to protect the passenger cab" , for van/flying gigs I use lightweight Scott Dixon case.

Hi Guys, I had one made for the M3 it came originally with a Red Dirt flight case but it still has a weight!.. I've been very pleased with the one I got made, and it has certainly fitted the bill for local trips.
I'll stick up some pics tomorrow, it was around £150 I seem to recall.

Malc ... I've change my pedal bracket slightly so you can have the one that you saw on mine .... I'll give it to Willie Tuesday night!
