Great pictures John. Do you know if Gordon had modified his Fender with an out of sight pedal at that time?

John Derek looks like a boy in the photos. He is sadly missed as is Gordon. Good to see Mr Hogan on the right in the second pic. :)

I don`t know about the pedal Ken, I aquired these pics from Mark Derek at his Dads memorial gig last Sunday, place was packed I had to sit on stage all night no other seat available...... it finished up a a jam with "The Duffy Bros" "West Virginia"
and Mick Smith from Leicester radio all of us going at it. great craic :?

Interesting... The amplifiers (Selmer Professional (TV12/T) and two-tone Grey early 1960 Vox AC 15) in the background, and the Hofner Committee headstock date the picture to be at the earliest 1961. The Steel Is a mid 50's Fender Deluxe 8. The twin neck version of the guitar Santo Farina used for Sleep Walk..There would be no pedals on that.
