Volume pedal pulley

Guys, does anyone have a spare volume pedal pulley? (fits over spline of volume pot and operates via the cord)

Dave, its for an Emmons clip on pedal, but I think most pulley types will fit.
I located a universal one on Bobbe Seymoures site but after e mailing I cant get a response.

Not quite Dave, the one on the Emmons pedal I have has the screw nearer to the one edge not central (cant be sure its the original though) I'm not sure cord would wind right with that one in the pic.

Dave don't think you will get any reply from Bobby, I have tried several times over the years and never got reply, my mate emailed them about buying a new steel and after several attempts gave up and bought a new Mullen else where.I once phoned to buy a volume pedal and the guy I spoke to (not Bobby) was extremely unhelpful and told me it would be to expensive to send to Uk.I pointed out to him he wasn't paying the carriage costs I was, so what was problem and was told it was too much trouble( I assume he meant the extra sixty seconds it would take to fill in the customs form ).They seem to cater well for US customers but unfortunately not us in Uk.I just don't even bother to try now.Others may have had different experiences using them.

Mal, Thanks for the heads up on your experience with BS, aint it dissapointing when all you want to do is buy something?
Obviously Bobbe's website is for that side of the atlantic only. I have e mailed twice but to no avail so! s*d it, Im sure something will turn up, Im meeting with our Bob Adams tomorrow Im sure he can help/make/mend whatever.

I had the same experience with Bobbe's some years ago.
Tried to order a tiny bottle of oil and an oiler pen. Came to about $9.
Only trouble was, he wanted $50 postage. - I got the message.

Wouldn't have minded if he just said he doesn't ship abroad.

Let me know if you don't have any luck Dave - I'll see what I can do.

Tony, Its a crazy situation, perhaps he should state on the website that he doesnt ship to UK, would have saved me a bit of hassle.


The pulley on my emmons pedal is doing anything it wants (except alter the volume) the fixing screw has stripped the thread so wont clamp down onto the vol pot spline. Not the end of the world, Im going to have a go at drilling and re threading it (should be fun, Im 'bleedin' hopeless at engineering-if you can call it that.

Seymour announced about 18 months ago in one of his newsletters that he had found a carrier who made it economically viable to ship to Europe. My mate Tom Bannister has bought a load of items from him, including a seat and a Bobro pedal. Shipping costs have been expensive, as too have the the dreaded import duties/taxes and VAT.

Any of us players in Europe who plan to visit Steel Guitar Nashville should post here to see if there are any smaller items that we can bring back for fellow players. I normally get a shopping list from Dave Wheelhouse when I go there, and have brought Cobra Coil strings back for Billy Murdoch.
