I have all of these DVDs on the Family Reuinion label, and the early ones have Weldon Myrick on steel, and Mike J on the recent ones. Mike's tone is exceptional, and his push pull is as sweet as it gets. In fact the whole band is great, including the great Jimmy Capps on lead guitar. As has been said - real country.
