Billy do we know who is playing where in our den? We have in the past had numbers of requests form the south but I am often asked what is going in on our turf, any thoughts, I've just pm'd Allan to give us some of the action in the north. I'll have a chat to Donny this week and see if he can add any meat to the bones, likewise Billy Holland.

Creetown Country Music Festival in my area.

For those who don't know SW Scotland, Creetown is 7 miles east of Newton Stewart on the A75

September 17th - 19th. Don't think they use many bands with steel though.

Hi Bob,
The country scene in Scotland is pretty poor and There is no guarantee that when visiting a club you will see a band with a Steelie.
Without labouring the point,We all know that clubs are going for Duo's and Trio's,there is little chance of a Steel player in these lineups.

Billy ... George, you can hear some steel this Saturday night in Creetown Village hall. I am playing with a band called "Country Features" Also on the bill is Pat Mc Cool (from Louge and Mc Cool fame), Micheal Mc Sparron, Country singer from Carnlough Co.Antrim, and a beautiful young lady from Ballymena called Marie Mermin. Its a sit-down concert ..no bar, but a good pub across the street. Looking forward to it
