Framus guitars were never that great as I recall, and I can't help but think that this is overpriced by a factor of at least 5.......could that bid of £1700 be real

ive just come off ebay, was looking at this...me thinks it's a tad expensive? but what do i know

imo, for less than that, one can get a modern, reliable & in tune psg w:3/4 or 5

The guitar was originally advertised at double the current price believe it or not. At the time of their initial manufacture, they were quite advanced in terms of European guitars, and certainly looked the part. However, they just cannot compete with a modern guitar for value. I suppose the guitar has historical value, although nothing like the advertised price.
