Dave Wheelhouse, that is one Awesome steel guitar......... If that guitar was at the show in St.Louis last weekend, you would be working overtime
for the next couple of years. Great craftsmanship ... great choice of colour ... well done Dave

If that stunning guitar WAS at the show in St.Louis, no one would have been able to play it, the copedent is mine..
Of course the owner could, Joerg Schubert would also have been able to fathom it out, but few others..
Bottom neck A7th,(Mine)... Top neck E9 added 6th.. (similar to John Hughey and early Emmons variants)

Thank you all for your compliments with regards to my latest Sheffield steel guitar. Ted, I'll see you at the ISG in October.

I'm only a novice when it comes to playing, but if any of you have not heard what a Sheffield sounds like just click on the link of me playing Danny Boy.

Kind regards,

Dave. :D

sounds gorgeous. Where's the backing track from? I like that version. Would you have a tab for this version of Danny boy, by chance? (of topic i know but nothing ventured etc.)

Hi Jason,

The backing track is on mini disc & if you want the tab, its in Dewit Scotts "Anthology of the pedal steel guitar" book.
