I bought a Lehle 90 as backup and very impressed with build quality and performance. Also bought this little chap off eBay to power up when mains supply is a problem, works fine.

Thanks Jif, sorry hadn't logged on in a while really appreciate your detailed response. Hadn't come across that post by Hilton with the WWII references but saw on the US forums people had similar harshness will try taking the gain down. Thanks again mate!
