Wally Whyton Show Intro

Postby hickenjr » Tue Jun 18, 2024 6:45 pm

Dug this up for my dad and he's asked if anyone knows the instrumental picking tune at the start, and who played it?

It starts at 13 seconds in and then Wally talks over it.

Steven, the tune is called Country Capers, the title track of an album by Buddy Merrill. He played for many years on the Lawrence Welk tv show in the states.Thanks. Bill Gauld.

Hi Steve,
Here is a link to the full album, and some great pickin', without Wally's talk over on the intro. :D
All the best, Jimbo ;)
