Geoff, glad your health continues to improve, Mitchell Smithey was staying with us after the Irish Festival and asked me to pass on his best regards to you, hope you are getting back into enjoying your MSA. Best regards Malcolm.

Thanks Malcolm, I'm getting there. Sat down at the MSA yesterday for a couple of hours and really enjoyed it, although I was a bit tired afterwards, intend to do the same today. Onwards and upwards :guitar:

Mitchell Smithey is a top guy, I have good memories of him showing me around the MSA factory which was fascinating, he can play a bit too! Something I found really interesting in the production unit was how they cut resonance chambers into the underside of the metal necks. It looked like they had done a lot of research into this as the chamber patterns they had created were very complex and exact. I guess that's one reason why the sustain on the modern MSA's are so good. Can't comment on how this compares to the older MSA's as I've never played one.

Anyway, apologies to Danny for sort of stealing his thread, was not my intention. Would be good to see some more photos of nights at Gartcosh and the dodgy personnel attending ;) :lol:

You probably took some Bob, but after taking my picture your lens probably malfunctioned and required replacing, (as for Calum :roll: ) :lol:
