I bought this pedal steel from SHAKEY on these forums back in 2018 because I love the sound of pedal steels and loved the idea of being able to play one. Transpires that I don't love the idea of being able to play one quite enough to get on and practice the thing and it's just gathering dust (as evidenced amply in the attached pictures!) so I'm throwing it up here for sale.
Chances are that if you're reading this post then you know more about pedal steels than myself. I had an issue with signal cutting out some time after I bought it and ended up having the pickup rewound - turns out it may just have been a dodgy volume pedal but in any event the guitar still runs through my amp without any issues. The guitar will come with the hard-case referred to into the original post and I can provide pictures of that to anyone who's interested. I'll also include the tonebar which was recommended to me when I bought it - I think it was around the £30-40 mark.
I picked this up for £950 when I bought it. I can't see that anything's happened which would have devalued it since I purchased it, but I'm open to discussions with anyone who's seriously interested. Ideally it'll be collected unless someone more experienced than my self in shipping big heavy pedal steels can talk me through logistics!
