SSGW 24th MAY 2022

Postby Donny Johnston » Wed Apr 27, 2022 9:39 am

Had a good night on Tuesday, numbers were down slightly, Robert didn't make it as he failed a Covid test, hopefully he'll be back to normal for 24th May. I just re-read my last sentence, Robert and normal doesn't fit in the same sentence. I'm sure we all look forward to having him back and have sharp his razor sharp wit back in action. Good to see Tony back.
Starting at the May meeting we are going to try something a wee bit different, 2 players, for each tune, 1 player playing the melody, and another playing the fills.
Tunes still to be decided
Looking forward to seeing you all there. LDN.
Blanton D10, Justice s10, Fender Acoustasonic 150, 1 Brain, 2 Hands, 2 Knees, & 2 Feet.

Thanks for the mention in despatches concerning my ailments yer Ludship, it’s not often you get things right, but you’ve definitely got it wrong this time!
I must point out that it’s very bad grammar when my name and the word normal are used in the same sentence,
just as razor sharp and wit, are a contradiction of terms when applied in my case!

Now for a health update, by using limited exertion, what’s left of this brain is dissolving down my nostrils at an alarming rate, but should I recover in time for next month’s meeting the bar is being set very high for one with diminishing brainpower!
Ahh Choo!
No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!

I have just deleted the remainder of the posts here as they were a tad offensive, please keep any personal thoughts of players to yourself or direct them in person not on a public forum. We are a family let's keep it that way!!
