North East Steelies April 24th

We had a good meeting last Sunday with 8 players in total. A welcome to James who attended for the first time and we hope to see him again.
We kicked off with I Love You Because as a Round Robin and there were some interesting efforts.
Following this it was up to individual players to play tunes that they had worked on.
We later had another Round Robin of Fly Me To The Moon and Tony gave a great version on his Dobro. Then it was back to individual playing again.
Attendees were : Tony Russell Davis, Derek Evans, John Stafford, Colin Scarth, Keith and Richard Jevons, James ???, and myself Keith Glendinning.
Our next meeting will be in June, dependent on availability of the room at the Buck Inn. Which incidentally is given to us free of charge by the landlady Vicky.
Round Robins will be : Sleepwalk, Jambalaya and Truck Drivin Man. Backing tracks will be made by Derek and sent out shortly.
