Hello from David in Cambs

Hi all,

I'm a pedal steel and lap steel player based in Cambridgeshire. I've been playing for 20-odd years with few signs of improvement, but I cling to the fact that simple parts played with feeling are all that most of the bands I've played with are looking for!

Lately, I'm exclusively a lap steel player as the pickup in my steel has died – hence me seeking out this forum for advice (John Davis was kind enough point me in this direction).

I'll post about that problem separately in the appropriate place, but I look forward to finding out about what goes on here.
