Hi everyone
I'm looking for a 15" BW speaker in great shape.
If you sell one tell me.

I have a Black Widow 1501 4-ohm speaker that I fitted a Peavey Neodymium magnet to. The Neo magnet on its own cost £95. Please let me know if you want to see pics of the speaker. I'm looking for £100 plus shipping for the speaker which is in A1 condition.

Thanks Ken
interesting but I already have a neo eminence. The fact of having put a neo magnet on the black widow does not take away the characteristics of the BW itself (deeper bass, tone?).

The Peavey Neo magnet is much bigger and heavier than any of the Eminence Neo magnets, and as such I didn't hear any difference in tone between my BW 1501 with the original magnet or the Peavey Neo magnet. I will keep my Black Widow as a spare, and you will be able to look for an original B/W with the large magnet.

BTW, on 21st April 2020 on the USA steel forum, Ken Fox wrote this as part of a thread on the Peavey Neo Magnet.

The late Jim Evans ran frequency response curves both with and without a neo magnet. He summarized that the Neo was a bit smoother in the response curve. I doubt any of us could probably hear much difference.
