What ever happened to Ron Steenwijk?

Postby Ted Nesbitt » Sun Jul 18, 2021 10:42 am

Anyone know what ever became of Ron Steenwijk. Some time ago he announced that he was setting up a steel guitar manufacturing facility in Europe. I presume Netherlands where he is originally from. Shortly after that he vanished into thin air.

No thank you. Before he went off air he was a regular poster on Facebook, showing photos of his guitars and
telling everyone how good they were, and how competitive his prices were compared to other builders. Then
silence .... where did he go. Some say .... he is back in the Netherlands, some say he is in the slammer.

He left the states and moved back to the Netherlands by all accounts.

His current Facebook alias is "Ronald Zwolle".

I posted a lot about him on Facebook not too long ago. He is in a Mobile Home near to the town Zwolle (hence his new name) his misses (Karen Kaylee) was looking for help to get back to the States and has stated I know nothing of his business or his workings. There was a German group he had ties with but that seems to have dried up. I sent info to Bently Cars to point out abvout his use of the Bently name, but like a lot of things in Europe it takes months or years for anyone to get their act into gear. He makes grandiose claims on Facebook, and they are'nt interested in taking him down. There are many who are looking to nail his nether region parts to the wall, Swiss, Dutch along with many in UK. I have been reliably informed that if you want him and have any proof of his crooked dealings, then all you have to do is contact the Dutch Police in Zwolle and they will look into the claims against him. I passed this info onto Mr Johan Janson who was enquiring about him for a Swiss friend. I'm sure that if enough of the people ripped off made a class claim to the Dutch Police action would be taken. As a Dutch National he is and has broken many Dutch laws. Zwolle isn't very big and I would thtink that there wouldn't be too many mobile home sites that he can choose from.

Further to the above:
Karen Kaylee is still living with him and saying "She isn't responsible for his deals"...a big cop-out in my book. If they are married for real (marriage certificate) she is responsible for all his debts and crooked deals. If it was me I would contact the police at Zwolle and tell trhem everything. Or go into your local police station and lay all the info infront of them...they have power to ask interpol to investigate.
Nijmegen isn't that far from Zwolle, but first I would sound out the local police to you and tell them.

I've read a message from his friend in which she said Ron died of heart failure recently.
