JCM guitar?

Anybody heard of JCM? It’s not a build I’ve come across. Looks like a lot of Sho-Bud parts, and has a tiny bit of an MCI look about it too. There’s one on Reverb.com for just under £1k (and open to offers). Looks pretty good for the price to be fair.

Could be a worthwhile purchase for somebody starting out!

It's a (little) known, mid 2010s(?), US brand. JCM (Jefferson County Music) built by Darrell Stiles - don't have any more info other than they look good with some parts from (or copies of) ShoBud and others.

I reckon this a con!! It says its in Devon UK but Marks gear garage I think is in New York

You could be right John, I hadn’t really thought of looking up the seller to be honest. I think there was a phone number on the advert though?

Not that that guarantees the advert’s legitimacy however..

Looked OK to me but John might have a better instinct, he certainly has more trading experience. Upottery has a US air base, so it could be known over the pond - otherwise it's an odd choice for a scam. There is a number, but it's a mobile, so no location info there. Wouldn't hurt to ring or text I suppose.
