Rickenbacker twin console

I am offering my Rickenbacker DW16 guitar for sale at the price of £1,350.
This guitar is in very good condition and a prime example of an early 50's Rickenbacker DW16 twin eight string guitar with original horse shoe pickups, it has very few marks for it's age and no issues regarding the electrics or body, the legs have recently been polished and re-chromed to restore the guitar's appearance.
It sounds terrific, a wonderful instrument to play, but as it's no longer being played, it's too good to sit in it's case under the bed!

One of the pictures below, show the guitar when I first got it but since then I've added different colours of insulation tape as fret markers to aid my vision ( next best thing to Braille! )
This can easily be removed and does not damage the guitar in any way.
It comes with the original case which is in equally good condition, both inside and out.
Due to the collectors value and condition of this instrument I would prefer to hand it over in person, but if the prospective buyer arranges carriage, I will make sure the guitar and case are well packed before shipping.
