Thank you everybody for the kind messages.
I will certainly find time for the forum and the Mullen as I need to have things to keep sane :D
I will be offering back numbers of the BSS newsletter in PDF form to anyone who might like copies.
I will start with the earliest issue that I have on file to the current one.
I will start another thread regarding this when I can.
Thank you everyone

Hi Roy,
Every one has said mostly what I would have said but again thank you for all the dedication you have put into producing the magazine. I haven't checked to see if you have cleared my cheque for renewal but if you haven't, do with as you wish put it to some good use.
All the best to you both.
Regards,
Barry.

Thank you Roy, 46 years of the newsletter is an amazing achievement and an incredible amount of work. I wish it wasn’t going away but I look forward to looking through old issues for many years to come. All the best!

I just wish to echo all of the comments by the other Forumites Roy.
I haven’t been a member for as long as most of them, but I appreciate the work you have done for everyone.

Roy, thank you for the for all the years of service you have given to the BSS, and for the years of friendship you have given to me, and everyone connected to the the BSS.You have gone above and beyond the call of duty, and I can think of no one else who could have done any more than you have to further the Steel guitar. It has been a real privilege to have met you and Sylvi over the years at the various festivals and shows, I wish you both all the best, and hope our friendship sees many more years.

Roy, I know that we have communicated privately over this, but the more I think about this the more I realise what an incredible achievement this was to keep the newsletter going for such an amazingly long period of time. The UK steel guitar brotherhood owe you so much for your efforts over the years. Very best wishes to you and Sylv buddy. :D
