[SOLD] ShoBud Pro1  3X2

Postby JohnDavisStringsHere » Mon Jul 26, 2010 4:47 pm

Sho-Bud Pro1 1970`s in stunning deep cherry Red three pedals and two knee levers (Bob Adams has quoted £200 to manufacture and fit two more! Thank you Bob ,that’s peanuts for the job I know you would do on it!!) The guitar is in well loved condition and has a little crazing in the lacquer but very little in the way of bar dings considering its age. The high polish on the ally in particular the pedal rack shows how much this guitar was cared for.

Sensible offers considered, please Email for pictures if your interested>>>>>>>>

Would like to upload pics but Bob has not showed me how yet?????? :?

This is one sweet guitar that comes form a good home! I have sadly parted with two of these lately and if I had a spare 2/6d I would have this myself!

The last candy apple red I had went to Rupert! who to the best of my knowledge is thrilled with it!

If it helps John this was it.

I sure hope this goes to a good home.

I know John won't mind but he roped me in on this one and the owner is a lovely person who would dearly like to know where the goes!! If the new owner takes as good care of it as the last this PSG will be around a very long time.

Bob's absolutely right, these guitars are wonderful. Not only do they look amazing, play beautifully, & have that superb classic sound, but they also represent a significant part of our steel guitar heritage. Twin neck Sho-Buds are incredibly heavy but my Pro 1 is lighter than my S10 Bennett!! Come on guys go for it - you won't be sorry!!! Good luck & best wishes to all - Rupert.

pm Ted Nesbitt Stefan! You'll find him on the members list!
I have one of his at the minute but I don't know his intentions for it other than to have it for show at the Irish Steel Guitar Festival next month.
