Can anyone give me the thread size that ZB used in their tuning Alan screw adjusters on the changer end please.

Cheers.

Jimmy..

6/32" Jimmy (final answer) :D

You will get away with 4BA but it is 6/32"

I'm not sure you'd "get away" with 4BA - that has 38.46 tpi, not 32

Sorry guys I did not mean to confuse Here!

A 4BA die will work perfectly well on the heavier ZB rod and as 4BA taps and dies are readily available it is an option.

However the ZB OE size is most definitely 6/32"

I am impressed Ian that someone is paying attention to such detail, there is hope for us yet!

Hi Jimmy,
Doing some catch up and saw this.
Here is what I have saved for the ZB's thread sizes :)

The thread on the fingers is 6-32.
The turn buckles are 6-40 (left & right threads)
The short rods are cut off bicycle spokes threaded to 6-40right.
The long pull rods are threaded to 6-40 left.
The tuning nuts are 10-24 or 10-32 cap screws, cut off & drilled and tapped to 6-32.

Confirming what the other boys have already said. :D
