I honestly can't take any credit, that was the easiest thing I've ever done, all the guy's parts were just as they sent them, untouched, and just dropped into place. The sections picked themselves. It was a shame we never got you on there. Next one, perhaps?
Even if we were to get a sh$tload of steels (I can't remember the collective noun), I could unleash my World Famous Invisible Mending, and knock up an extended mix, featuring allcomers.

Well you played an extremely important part in this little soirée Danny, and don’t you forget it. Ensuring that all the parts slotted in seamlessly and keeping each player’s levels uniform took the skill of a truly independent producer. The fact that you also play steel yourself meant that you had a very good idea what the end product should sound like was so important. That you were truly independent was the fundamental reason why I suggested you do the job in the first place. If there is a next time, I sincerely hope that you would work your magic on that one too.

I don’t really want to single out any one player from the group, but I feel that Steven deserves a special mention. He was by far the most inexperienced player out of all of us, but he had the testicles to join in and have a go. It wasn’t a competition in any way, but he hung in there and did his thing, and I really admire him for that. When you look at the talent that could play on any future project, the likes of Pete Haywood, Dave Nash, David Hartley, Brian Cole, Basil Henriques, Gerry Hogan, Sarah Jory and many others, they could produce something pretty spectacular too. But our little band of brothers were the first UK players to pitch in and take part, and I’m proud of every man jack of them.

My pleasure Ken, I constantly challenge myself and without challenges I wouldn't improve. I did have confidence of putting in a nice performance and my aim was to stay with you guys and add to the track rather than be a weak link. I did have a competition; but it was with myself. When I was younger I really wanted to play 4/4 shuffles all the time, it was bread and butter to me. I grew up listening to my old man doing it and I cut my teeth on it. However, I challenged myself to play pop and rock a while ago as my mates wanted me to drift from country. Trying to play Oasis found me out musically but I'm glad to say I've come on since then. A few years ago I probably wouldn't have been able to do this collaboration and at a later point I will release my full version (with a shout out to the BSS one of course).

It was a team effort and the result was great. I've heard a lot of comments on Facebook about how great everyone's tone was and although, I'm obviously modest about myself, the tone of the others I definitely agree.

My dad has also been lurking on the project. He really likes the end result and said its excellent.

He said if there is another project he'd like to join it with his 80s Sho-Bud. He's been very busy with his job recently but would love to have a go. Said he misses you all from the scene, hasn't played festivals since 2004.
