Hi lads, I speak with Reg every other day to keep him and us up to speed with all the latest gossip in steel land. We had a real good chat tonight and it was good to hear him laughing.. We spoke at length about The Steel Workshop in Gartcosh and even longer about Ireland and the Festival family. When we were discussing Dublin it dawned on me how sad it was that it didn't happen this past year, because sadly he may not see another one and that choked me up.
There will be some items of equipment coming up for sale soon as Reg has asked me to co ordinate the disposal of his gear.
I am unsure what to do at present, as this bloody virus has snookered travel, rendering it impossible for anyone to go see things. All of this equipment is in top notch condition, so, when it does come up for sale, no tyre kickers please, as I am doing this for a very good friend, who through ill health cannot do it for himself.

Hi lads, just a wee update on our Sick, Lame and lazy.
I phoned Reg yesterday to get an update on his progress, he started his chemo regime last Friday and he says he feels fine, you hear some horrific stories about this treatment, some say it leaves you feeling like "Shit hammered flat" now there's an image to conjour with.
I phoned Donny tonight, enquiring after Barbara and himself, do you know, you amble through this mortal existence thinking Woe is me, and by God you don't know the half of it, they are both just "getting on with it"
I also phoned Malcolm yesterday to enquire about his recouperation after his Kidney Stone procedure, he says he is well on the mend and p*""#'g freely now.
That concludes the reports on the sick north of Hadrian's Wall.

Hi guys, just a wee update on Bro Reg, or as he now calls himself " Chemo Sabi " he is suffering a bit pain wise at the moment, but hopefully the doctors will sort out his medication to give him some relief.
I have to say, he was in remarkably good spirits when I rang him on Tuesday and he had a visitor, so I told him I would call back on Wednesday, lo and behold when I rang on Wednesday he had another visitor, but we had a wee chat anyway.
He is quite a popular chap is oor Chemo Sabi.
I will keep updating as and when for the brethren of the bar who are interested.

Willie,
It is good to hear how Reg, sorry, Chemo Sabi's  getting on. Btw, does that make you Tonto?

Man, I'd like to hear that Gartcosh hall echoing to the sound of Reg yodelling his way through a Granpa Jones song. That made my night.
