This is where you can rest a while and discuss anything - doesn't have to be steel guitar related!

I remember somebody writing a crit. of the Katana head as being good for steel guitar coupled with a selected speaker rather than the combo - I'll see if I can find it. May have been in a BSS newsletter. Anybody recall that? Maybe Roy?

Thanks for that.

Here's a 4 page thread on the Boss Katana in Steel Guitar Forum.

The Katana (100w) can be got for under £300 in the U.K. right now.
(and No ~ I have no connection with the company, and neither am I in sales -- I just happen to have bought one recently ~ amazing amp.)

Hi Tim, I found this and thought it may be interesting for you.

It’s Mathew Jutt playing through a Katana amp.

Anyone looking for this make of amp, Billy McKillop, has one for sale on this site
" Boss Katana 100 Mk2 for sale. I bought this in February 2020. Never been gigged. I've only used this once in the rehearsal studio. It cost £340.00 and I bought a cover for it at £45.00. I want £240.00 for it as it's in brand new nick. I still have the original carton it came in."

I have no vested interest in this sale 8-) therefore:-
No commission expected ( as none will be given! )
No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!
