Steven, I think the idea is for everybody to play the full track, then edit it together from there, like Band Aid, Do They Know It's Xmas, only with steels instead of vocals.

I'm almost there with the mixdowns for the tracks. I will put them on Danny's Dropbox this afternoon. Each of the 2 suggested tunes will be posted with and without a guide vocal. Please record your steel on the track without vocals. Can we try to aim for next weekend to get everyone's efforts in by? However, as it's so near Christmas, it won't matter if some go over that window of time by a little bit. It's handy having 2 different tunes as one might work better for everyone than the other. Please play all the way through the tracks, as they can be sliced up in the mixing process.

It's actually time to get behind your guitar and get some seat time in.

Both numbers are now in Dropbox with and without guide vocals. I re-mixed the tracks without vocals. When you have added your steel part, please post your track back onto the Dropbox account with your name in the file name.

There are PDF music sheets that might be helpful to some if not all.
