Reg Sutherland

Postby Willie Gamble » Fri Nov 20, 2020 11:17 pm

Lads and Lassies, I am posting this to let you all know that a Brother of the Bar Reg Sutherland is having a spot of bother, health wise. He attended hospital the other day to find out that he has got a tumour on his aesophogus ( if that is how you spell it) anyone who has attended the Scottish Steel Guitar Workshop at Gartcosh or indeed the Irish steel festival, will know Reg, he is a great guy, and a valued member of the Scots Squad at the ISGA festival
I spoke with him tonight and he is in good spirits, and he is awaiting an appointment for a scan to see what the prognosis is.
I am sure everyone in the steel guitar community will keep Reg in their thoughts and prayers.
As I mentioned before he is a great guy, and co incidentally a Mullen player.
Reg if you read this, you are in my thoughts constantly Brother.

Asleep at the steel

Reg is most definitely a great guy as Willie says and I sent Him a message a couple of days ago and have pleasure in posting here to wish Reg sails through this soon.
Proud to call Him Brother.

Reg is a total gentleman and, in my estimation, he'd be a hard man to put down. Nothing but the best wishes from me.

Worrying news, like others have said Reg is a great guy. Wishing him all the best and fingers crossed that he gets through this OK and we see him back at Gartcosh sometime next year.
