I'll try and post a nice sus2 when I can get round to it.

Basically does the job of the Tommy White 6 lower without actually having that knee lever.

I was warming up for a session...just before tuning up my 3rd string went pop and since my strings haven't been changed since February I wasn't putting one on. My tuning is slightly sour as I haven't tuned up.

I've annotated any mistakes...long day at work. Now I'm gunna be up till 1am doing this session because of my commitment to get this out  . Luckily I have a beast of a backup guitar...

Well done Steven! both for the move, and for keeping my thread alive........ you could say at one point it was hanging by a thread there but, onward's and upwards.... anyone else?
I have asked two US Superpickers how they played a certain lic or phrase and found them to be very secretive about their trade and I suppose you cannot blame them as it is their living but,if we do not take the trouble to sus some of it out, eventually, they die and a little bit of it dies with them, pass on those beautiful sounds while you still can! we all lose it in the end.

coming soon, that silly little elusive 7th chord that I had to steal from Ron...........unless someone else posts it first? Here is a clue, He was working with Ray Price second part intro?????? any takers??

Thanks, glad you like it!

If I've got a brand new move to show the world I'll keep it a secret until it's out there, but I'm happy to show if people want it.

I was hesitant of showing the C pedal move until a later date for the same reason, but when I realized Tommy White already did it and in turn the fact I wasn't actually a complete genius... I thought I'd show you.

In terms of the big names, some don't share for monetary and some for ego reasons, but I have found that some players can get legal trouble for it so are scared of doing videos. A big player told me he struggles to teach his own solos on big hits because the publisher owns the music outright potentially leading to lawsuits.

Since this thread started, I've sat down at the steel and run through most of the stuff that I play, and I've realised that I don't actually have any licks other than the usual E9 cliches, so no one would benefit if I put them individually on video.

One of the songs that I play (Girl In The Glass) is chock full of cliches (that most players know), but if anybody doesn't know how to play them I can tab them out

Beautiful tone on what you played there Richard thanks for posting all those cliche lics you put in that are gold dust to the beginners, the one in the bridge part where you lower the E's is a particular favorite of mine, I may explain it in more detail in a video if someone does not beat me to it.....
