YouTube Videos In Posts

The YouTube BBCode has been updated to cope with most variants of YouTube URLs I can think of, including https versions, so these would all work: -

[youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNBslt1qWM[/youtube]

[youtube]http://youtu.be/NqNBslt1qWM[/youtube]

[youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNBslt1qWM&list=RDNqNBslt1qWM#t=2[/youtube]

along with many other variants. So there's now no excuse not to use it: -

Step 1

Copy YouTube URL from address bar...

or from YouTube's "Share" tab...

Step 2

Paste into your post...

Step 3

Highlight what you just pasted...

Step 4

Apply the youtube BBCode by clicking here.

It's that easy

Result won't show until posted!

Unfortunately 90% of posters don't do this. For most of the YouTube videos you see posted, I've manually edited the post to embed the video in the post rather than show a link.

I've always done this...I sometimes think people must assume it's automatic...it isn't! Maybe I'll stop...

It's usually enabled by default. The videos you've posted here so far have all embedded just fine.
