Where have they all gone?

Back in the 1970's I was a sales rep for ZB guitars (Maidstone) and then for Sho-Bud (London)

There were significant numbers of both makes sold in the UK during that decade. I have wondered over the past few years - what has happened to many of these guitars that are not being played these days. Are they stuck under beds, in sheds or in lofts? More importantly, when will they surface?
