McKenna 8-string resonator guitar

For the past five years I have played very little resonator guitar due to relocating and taking a different musical direction. As a result my 6-string and 8-string resonators and my 8-string Fender Deluxe steel have remained unused. With no foreseeable change in that I am, somewhat reluctantly, putting the 8-string reso and 8-string steel up for sale.

This 8-string square neck resonator was made for me by Gregg McKenna in 2008. Gregg hand-built 6, 7, 8 and even 10 string square-neck resonator guitars to order from his workshop in Windsor, Connecticut. All his resonators were of traditional birch construction with soundwells. This one for sale has a dark brown translucent finish and is in very good condition with a few cosmetic marks that are only really noticeable on close inspection. The instrument comes with a good quality TKL fitted hard case.

I am asking £750 for the guitar and case delivered within mainland UK. For delivery to other regions please ask. Payment by PPG, bank transfer or cash on collection. I am located in Kent but happy to drive a reasonable distance to meet part way.

Coincidentally I am just in the middle of posting the Fender Deluxe 8 on Reverb having photographed it to death this afternoon. I am happy to place it here too if there is interest but with just a few indicative photos perhaps.

Ah, is it? Other forums I belong to don't like their classifieds having posts containing links to other market places. As a relative newbie I didn't want to risk breaking any rules here.

This will be the final day of listing. During the 18 days that the McKenna 8-string has been advertised for sale there has been interest expressed here and particularly on Reverb but no-one has pressed the button so I am going to withdraw it from sale at the end of today and perhaps re-list it next year.
