This is a message from my friend Caroline, who lives in Lanzarote. I think this can give you a little idea about this here right now.
"Corona virus Lockdown Day 6: Not gonna lie I'm starting to go a bit bat shit crazy not working & stuck in the house with two kids (three if you count the husband) & the mother in law!!! Missing the simple freedom of going for a walk or meeting friends, but very grateful that the virus figure in Lanzarote is stagnant so hopefully this lockdown will keep it that way. Fingers crossed the rest of the Canaries figures will plateau & reduce soon, and likewise mainland Spain. Good to see UK also starting to shut things down after a slow start. Visited the supermarket briefly today and still no queues or stockpiling, plenty of fresh produce & full shelves. If Lanzarote can manage I've no idea why UK cant! Quit arguing over bog roll & bread you neanderthals - remember it was only last month everyone was preaching 'Be Kind'! Stay safe everyone"
P.S. Everyone in my family is okay, no problem at all, thanks
