I am in the process of rebuilding an early Springfeild PSG to my own specifications and would appreciate any advice or information about fitting extra return tension springs on pedals and levers as shown in the pictures.
Is this a good idea ?
What are the advantages or disadvantages of increasing the tension on the cross shaft movement ?
What type of Spring is best?
Am I wasting my time in trying to re invent the wheel?
