Postby Jimmy Gibson » Wed Apr 03, 2019 7:53 pm

I recently acquired this lap steel, but not sure as to what make, how old it is,i have had a few suggestions as to its make but the pictures I have seen have been similar but there are quite a few differences. So can anyone help in identifying this steel ?It sounds amazing and looks stunning..

Cheers Jimmy.

Jimmy
I am almost certain that it's a twin neck Choncord with separate necks instead of the usual console model in the photo that can be found in the link below, the embellishments of D and G with bits of " bling " have probably been added by a previous owner.
Possibly even a Mr Ken Bling in his youth?

No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!

What would be a fair price to ask for this stunning steel if I wanted to sell?
