Any secret note pockets?

Hi All
Ive been practicing a lot recently using B pedal on its own or with my 7 string half raise, played 2 frets above either the no pedals or AB positions. I’m finding it a very useful ‘pocket’ to play in and it occurs to me that perhaps there’s other wee gems that I haven’t found yet. The last good one was when I found the dropped E’s position 2 below that makes C a first fret chord rather than AB on 3. And then there’s the ‘move anything up 3’ to make it minor thing that helps shrink the neck. Does anyone have a favourite wee place on the fretboard out of the ordinary?

Aren't you playing 12 rather than 10?
'Scuse my ignerrance (!), but don't that make it all different?
I love the sound of 9,8,6: 9,8,6 (B pedal in: then lower 9 (D to C#). Sounds very 'hymnal'. But you 12 'ers don't lower the 9th (as I understand it...).
We could be speaking a different language.

Thanks for getting on board. I am indeed playing 12 but extE9 rather than Uni so I’m in the same boat as all the rest of you ‘normal’ players except I have a particularly ‘deep pocket’ on strings 11 and 12 that I can keep my wallet in! Will have a wee look at your options when Ive ‘had my tea’......

I like your change and it is indeed very hymnal. I don't use the lower on 9 nearly enough so will try and incorporate it. My 9 is mainly for my feel stop on 7 and 2. Though one 'Brucie Bonus' that came out of your change is that my 7 full raise that kicks in with the 9 lower gives me a maj 7th. However, I realised that its not perfectly in tune so upside down again to add another split tuning rod! Don't you love this instrument.....

Your 7 Full raise is my 6 full lower +b pedal makes a lovely b7th chord...
Yer takes the money and takes yer choice...
I did get a 'half=pedal' on my E lowers, where string 4 would lower before string 8 began to lower., making the (temporary) incursion into Gymnopidaes.. but I re-tuned, and now I have no idea how I did it.
You seem to have Erik Satie sorted - except for the heavy boots and damage to the MSA corporate representation...

No choice required on that one as I have the 6 lower as well and that’s on my RKL. It’s also got a feel stop for the half drop and I use that exclusively instead of the B plus knee ( which also works just in case).
Now the idea of the E’s going at different speeds is going to mess with my brain for a couple of days! Hadn’t thought of that. Genius!

So, can anyone tell me how I did it - and more importantly, how I can do it again? (Staggered E lowers. String 4 hits Eb before string 8 starts to lower. Lever fully engaged gives the usual Eb on both strings.)

I'm guessing you just set the lower stop on 4 so that it can't go past Eb. Then 8 just keeps on going assuming you have enough of a pull set up and its set to kick in after 4 hits the target. If you don't have a lower end stop, then an extra raise pull on 4 that kicks in to stop it dropping past Eb. One day, this will all be software......
