On the US Forum, Mike Neer has generously offered a free download (MP3) of his Steelonius album. The album covers his versions of tunes by the Jazz pianist Thelonius Monk, played on Mike's 8 String Lap Steel accompanied by various backing musicians. It's well worth a few minutes of your time to download the album and I'm sure most steel players will enjoy Mike's take on some of Monk's familiar Jazz compositions.

Damn a free album,!! I already bought and paid for this album when first released.
To be fair,it is only right that such superb musicians work should not go unrewarded.
As a jazz enthusiast since my formative years a recent steel guitar ‘learner’
