Hello everyone,, I am wondering if anyone out there has any news about David Hartley? I am not a steel player but this man means so much to me. I am disabled and listen to music, I love. His music has to be the greatest on earth. At nights I turn on his music and just pray to GOD I could just play ONE tune on a steel and dream David is beside me. NO ONE will ever know what a blessing to me David has been. I understand he lost his friend John Stannard. Bless him cause I believe GOD has him. I know losing someone will cause all to grieve different. We do it and we are all different. It would just be so nice if anyone could just say, David is ok,, Thanks for thinking of me. BLESS all you steel players. Wayne

Hello Wayne. Thank you for your post, I am fine thank you. I am keeping busy with Jacen Bruce playing rock and roll music most weekends. I help out with country bands also when I get offered gigs that are not too far away. I don’t post videos on youtube as I used too. I felt that when John Stannard moved to Texas, I lost interest in doing the videos we used to do together. Its very nice to hear that you listen to my music. I am certainly not the greatest but have been bought up with playing country music from a young age and mainly on steel guitar. Keep listening to your music and getting pleasure from it. There are many great players, so have a search around to youtube sites and see what you can find. I listened to a lot of Lloyd Green while learning my steel. He is still playing, now in his 80’s.
CD's and individual tracks available to download from iTunes and CD Baby.

Those are very nice sentiments, Wayne. I don't know if you've come across these clips on YouTube? (There are a good few of them)

They might just be informal jams, but they're great music coming from a good place :guitar:
GFI Ultra keyless S10 4+5 Emmon's setup + Sigler, Li'l Izzy, Hilton volume pedal, Roland Cube 80gx, Joyo American Sound Pre-amp, Behringer VD400 Delay Pedal, Peterson Strobo Plus HD and a brace of bars, Ben's, Ezzee-Slide, Pearse, BJS, SIT nickel strings.
