Just had first post in hello and welcome.
Trying to put rather long draft into history of steel in U.K. I can load draft, but it keeps changing back to new members section. What am I doing wrong? Please understand I’m a bemused old geezer without too much knowledge of these new fangled iPad computer thingies. Thanks Stan...♥️♠️♦️♣️

It sounds like you're not submitting the topic after composing it.
If you did save a draft, it might be at ucp.php?i=main&mode=drafts
Usually you'd skip the "draft" part unless you were leaving and coming back later to finish it, just [preview] then [submit] will post it without any additional steps.
