Daryle, Jimmy and Mr & Mrs Johnston................. for me this is accapella perfection!

Can't believe the big guy is gone! He was such a gift to a steel player!

We will all miss the big guy Bob not many out there that can reach those really low notes with such clarity and Mike's superb solo I must have listened to a hundred times and still cannot get the phrasing right (and possibly a few of the notes) ?? how many of you guys get the chance to play it in the bands you are in ?We do it at Bulkington maybe once in 6 months as they are constantly changing the program and it is not often enough to get the wrinkles out a solo like that and to do anything else in those few bars sounds a bit lame after listening to Mike.
If anyone is interested, I would gladly record and post my take on Mike's solo for criticism, piss-taking or compliments and corrections from any that know better.

That is 100% country music. Mike is such an imaginative player who has a locker full of great moves. He's a bit down at the moment as he and Joanie were really close with Daryle.
