C6 pedal order

I wondered if any of you C6 players (especially Mark Dunn!) had an opinion on pedal order? I have a standard C6 set up and am thinking of moving the baroom/boowah pedal from 8 to 4 so it can be next to pedal 5. I know this is accepted as norm on jeff newman universal set up but are there any drawbacks to making this move on C6? It seems to make sense so why isn't it standard C6 setup? P4 and 7 seem similar to me...Any input welcome before I get my hands dirty.

I use the standard C6 pedal arrangement. It makes it easy to play other guitars. With regards to moving the pedal 8 to position 4: According to Mr Zum, there are tuning issues with doing this and you miss out on being able to use standard pedal 4 with 5. I have tried it on my old Emmons Legrande, it didn't appear to me to any great advantage.

My lever arrangement is: RKR 3rd string C lowered to B; RKL 3rd & 7th C's raised to C#; LKR 4th string A to Bb; LKL 2nd string lowered to Eb, 6th string raised to F (the opposite to pedal 6 change).

Thanks Mark, it has been a great help. Thanks for the knee lever info too. The main advantage I envisioned was being able to 'toggle' between 5 and 8 on blues type stuff. I'm going to stick with standard. Thanks again. BTW I love your youtube version of 'I love you because'. cheers, Dave
