Thank you all for your kind wishes...

I got out of hospital yesterday, but have a cough like a sea-lion in heat ( dont ask me how I know what that sounds like lol ).

I am recovering now, and working hard to put on the stone in weight that I lost over the last fortnight. (and that was from chasing that SRN up aand down the ward in my kamode!)

Not sure I will make Tuesday.

See you all soon and thanks again

Dave
Sincere apologies for not wishing you well in my earlier post, I almost made myself sick eating all the grapes I was going to bring you, I could have brought you flowers but that wee SRN might have thought you were getting serious and would pass them on.
Your secret was safe with Danny but you gave the game away when mentioning the" kamode " now we know the real reason Danny asked the forum members where he could get " Izal toilet paper ", Kazoo my arse! :P
Hope you can make Tuesday night, but don't worry if you can't manage, we'll still talk about you behind your back and I'll get that little f'ergy that usually sits beside you to stop sticking the pins in because you criticised his Mullen  :guitar:
Keep practising " till you gain control again " for almost live at Gartcosh, we have plenty of paper ready.
Best wishes and hope to see you soon
P.S.
In your neck of the woods is it part of the normal courting routine to chase one's intended while on a commode ? :guitar:
No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!

I love all the 'sympathetic' texts   , humour hasn't left north as yet, it still looks like, "If you want sympathy, you will find it in the dictionary, between sh*t and syphilis", the banter probably does more good than medicine.

Guys, I know weather is bad but if you can make it along I have it on good authority that you will have a very pleasurable surprise :o can’t say too much ;) . I will be aiming to be there, not playing as I have an injured shoulder, but looking forward to it. Biggles. Ps it is not Gamble doing a drag act, although I would pay good money to see that.

Is it true you injured your shoulder trying to extract your wallet from your hip pocket ?
Mr Bling just had a shock at reading you would pay good money to see anything that was going free
Best wishes on a speedy recovery, Tuesday night should be a good tonic for you. :guitar: :guitar:

Robert, as has been proven many times it is not us Scots who are tight, it is the likes of Blyng, he is so tight he squeaks when he walks, it is rumoured his favourite hobby is counting (over and over)his vast fortunes, then calls his hero, the Witch May, to see if there is any way she can make more money for him by robbing us Scots.

Robert
When McMiser says he would pay good money for anything, take it with a big - no a massive - pinch of salt. :o

He spends at least 5 hours a day sending begging letters to Spencer Scott and myself, using various addresses and aliases throughout the UK!
He likes to sit around the fire on a cold winter's night. If it's really bad, he'll even light it!
McMiser is so tight he had double glazing fitted so his kids couldn't hear the ice cream van!
The grand canyon was made when he dropped a penny down a rabbit hole!

Here's a picture of McMiser after he was given a half a pint of beer shandy. (He was at his own wedding reception, but he did something useful and provided somewhere for a cyclist to park his bike!) He's never bought a round in his lifetime, and never intends to either. The last time he had a shout was when the midwife slapped his backside.
