Choo Choo Chaboogie

Postby mick hearn » Thu Dec 14, 2017 11:20 am

Oh no not again I hear you cry. :o Yes folks it's me. :D I've taken over but I just had to share this one. Inspired by the pedal version by Jeff Newman on YouTube. Liked some of the moves he did but others are mine. I used the same backing on B in a B as for I Love You Because, but changed the chord sequence then looked around for some solo instruments. Think it worked.

Thanks Roy. I just can't leave that lap steel alone. The bug has bitten really bad.

Well Mick that's another great piece of Lap Steel playing. As others have said, the National sounds great. I remember that tune from the 1950's and if my memory serves me well, Bill Hayley and the Comets played a version of it when I saw them at Sunderland Empire in 1957 !!! Keep those great tunes coming Mick.
Keith.

Another blast from the past, well played and recorded, great work Mick as we all say keep them coming.
You put a lot of effort into each tune and the end results must be very satisfying, your playing and skill in making backing tracks come across in equal measures, well done! :guitar:
Robert
No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!
