any old toon will do, heres what I have been messing with today.... its not quite as per the written music and its not country so I called it body parts but it was hearing Baz playing Body and Soul that made me want to play it and Baz had the only Steel version I could find......

I (and I'm sure I speak for many) wouldn't have a clue how to post video. I have as much ability on IT as you claim to have on reading tab! I have an i-pad but don't know how to take pictures/video, let alone know how to post them!
(And my playing is nothing to get excited about)!!!

Well there is a starting point Nick, if I can do it you know it has got to be easy, according to you tube it is ten years since I posted my first "help" video, all I did back then was connect my old camcorder to the computer by means of a fire wire (bit like a usb plug but slightly bigger) and the pc thrashed about a bit until it found the software to run it then it asked me if I would like to import live video.... answer yes please but I would think nowadays a cheap camera would run on an ordinary usb plug or even have camera built in that you could use, maybe Marc could advise us? or go to settings on your device then camera/video and see what the options are.
You are right about my feelings on tab, I have never tried to read or use it, my approach is learning the different chord shapes up and down the neck and getting them to flow together in as many different ways as I can find, on doing this you stumble upon loads of different melody's and signature lics, if you like to play melody as I do, I can then go straight to the inversion of the chord that has the most of the melody in line and you can soon sort the rest of it out. I know this is the wrong way and would advise anybody to learn the theory as, if you do as I have done you will get to a stage when you realize how limiting this way is but,
for people over the age of 70 who know nothing about music it may be the only chance they have of getting a tune out of it in their remaining years
