Help please - identify that track!

Can anyone help me identify a lap steel piece I hear played every day on the Chris Evans show on Radio 2? I thought it might have been the Spongebob Squarepants theme, but no. So what is it, when was it recorded, and who played it?

Ok, no joy yet with the show's producers, so I recorded a sample but - wouldn't you know? I am not allowed to upload it so you can hear it. Copyright reasons, Marc? So I have yet to work out a way to get around this. Apparently I have to put it on somebody else's website, so I can give a URL.
