ZB or not ZB

Postby SHAKEY » Thu Sep 14, 2017 4:45 pm

That is the question. I bought this old student Zb from a lovely lady in Nottingham by the name of Leigh Doherty, her dad was a steel player, no doubt some of you will remember him, anyway I bought it with the intention of restoring to it's original condition with a couple of extra knee levers but it was going to cost a lot more than I could afford so it was a case of plan "B" and this is the result. This is what it sounds like.

It's no Mullen or Infinity but it works and I love it.

Dave, love the tone and of course your playing mate. Takes me back to the club meetings when you could make it down here and gives us some of your great tunes and playing. Where have those years gone?
