Anybody want a project steel

its a 1958 Rickenbaker 518, rare 8/10/8 version
it has the original case a bit battered though the original legs.
all tuners work . volume and tone knobs work all complete.

the farthest away neck is quite loud but the necks get quieter as they get nearer. if you just have the farthest neck on its quite loud select the middle neck and the volume drops etc all three necks on and it is fairly balanced. all too technical for me I did plan to renovate this but don't have the time.

It is not a mint guitar its been well used through the years and to have the 10 string in the middle neck is rare

looking for around £650 ovno. maybe swap or part exchange for a lap steel 6 or 8 string or what have you
its a bit too fragile too post need to collect really I am in Hampshire.

OMG. Pure gold. What tunings is it set to at this time?

Does anyone have any ideas as to the volume problem?

never really used it was E13 / C6 / A6 when I got it ,I wanted to completely restore it back to its original glory I just never found the time so it stayed in its case in the spare room. a bit of a waste really hence the reason for moving it on.
