Anyone in the South Devon area give lessons?

Postby jimmacgregor » Fri Apr 28, 2017 11:50 am

Hello, my name's Jim and have been playing guitar/vocals in various Country and Americana bands for the last ten to twelve years but bought a ShoBud Maverick about two years ago in the hope of learning. The only development and tuition I've had is purely from my own love of the instrument and lots of listening and watching youtube videos. I feel I've learnt a lot and have even been playing with some bands but I want to push myself further in this next year to really learn properly, hopefully under the guidance of a seasoned player.
I was wondering if anyone in the South Devon/Cownwall area plays and if they'd be willing to take on a student? I'm really serious about taking my playing to a higher level and wanted to reach out on this great forum.
I'm 36 years old and live in Plymouth, Devon , but I'm willing to travel. Can anyone help me?!? Really hope to here some positive comeback.

Many thanks

Jim

Jim
You have a good player who lives in Cornwall, one Jimmy Gibson. I am not sure if he has enough time to teach, but if he sees your post he might offer his services.

Thanks Ken, I saw from the player map that he was based down in this part of the world. Here's hoping he may see my post. Thanks again :)
