Hi John
If you are going to remove the C6th neck then so be it but I would be interested in the under carriage. IE rods etc any knee levers not used.
I have a Fessy D10 so the rods etc would be handy as spare etc should I want to add raises or changes,
Thanks
Tim
will PM you too

OK John, I'll have it.
Money's in my pocket now. I could be in St Neots tomorrow morning if you like ?
When would suit you to do the deal?
Cheers
Ian

OK Ian, pm sent, I have reduced the price of the guitar by £150 to facilitate this deal I do not want to split the parts up as it makes no sense to me so, if the people that have shown interest in these parts are not prepared to offer a tiny bit over the 150 then I would prefer to keep them myself bearing in mind I still have a pad to make for the back neck. hope this is clear and fair to everyone.......

How much are you asking for the complete guitar John? it seems a great pity to to reduce a perfectly good D10!

I agree with you Stewart, but if Ian does not want the back neck what can you say?? one thing for sure, you can't play it if you aint got it :( Guitar "as is" 1650
Which I think very reasonable for a modern "all pull" guitar....

You are right John, that's a really good price for a decent D10 - hope it gets sold!

I don't usually post copies of a private message on here but Ian, never having heard of A.P.C is a bit concerned about me sending him the guitar via them and there are so many of you out there that have received things I have sent via them, be it a case or a cabinet or a steel guitar ....there must be one or two that could give him reassurance as I have never had a problem with them and I know a lot of you guys that use them as well?

Hi John,
Yes I am trying to avoid driving to st neots twice. I've never heard of APC before but I would be nervous about using them.
Not to mention the additional cost.
I have to go out now but I'll think about it tonight. I might have a brainwave
Cheers
Ian

Ian, if your concerned about doing the journey twice there is no need I can send the guitar down to you via A.P.C., they do a next day service that has never failed me yet, but at least come and buy it first before I tear it all apart and see what you are getting for peace of mind for both of us.
You say standard "Emmons" set up, do you have E's raise and lower on your left knee with LKL raising the E's.?

Hi John,
I'm looking forward to having the guitar, I won't be changing my mind.
If I lived closer to you it wouldn't be a problem for me to have a look before buying, but I just have to take a chance on it being as good as I believe it is.
I've seen only good "reviews" on the internet with references to how easy it is to change the set-up.
I've got so used to buying stuff sight unseen on eBay it doesn't worry me.
If it's OK with you I'll wait for you to tell me it's ready, then I'll be there like as shot.
I'm not a time waster. You can check out my eBay account to see my 100% feedback and complimentary comms. "pearceofcake"
As soon as you're ready to part with it I'll come and get it.
Cheers
Ian

HI Ian, Ok it is yours but I need a little time to do the work on it, would you like to come up in the morning just to be sure you are happy with it then give me a few days to do the work.? That idea sounds good to me.....

There would be no additional cost involved for Ian as I would be happy to cover that, but I must admit to being a bit reluctant to tear a guitar in half and change the copedant while I still own it......
