Donny Johnston

Postby bob adams » Fri Jan 13, 2017 12:54 am

I had a call from Donny this evening around 9.30 pm from the A&E department at Crosshouse hospital.

He went to his local chemist early evening and his pharmacist said are you ok Donny you don't look well? not really was the reply, a subsequent call to his local GP resulted in (said GP) driving him to the hospital where his heart rate was [to say the least] through the roof! He will be in the coronary ward by now I think and I'm sure getting good attention! None the less I know Donny would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for him and Barbara at this worrying time.

I've known this L'll shit [a Frank Bloomfield expression] for forty years, whilst he may be smaller in stature he is for sure big at heart!

I suggest they plug him into a Fender Twin that will have him back on his feet in no time! :guitar: :guitar:

Your thoughts at this time!

That not the news we want to hear at the start of a new year. Our prayers for a speedy recovery Donny. Keep your eyes off them young nurses that won't help your heart rate to settle down.

Good grief! Big shock, Bob.
Good on the chemist and the GP. Donny's the type of guy to push himself, regardless, and I think, left to his own devices, he'd tend to leave things like this too long.

'Mon Lord Donald! Your steel community needs you! But take it easy and get yourself sorted.

What grim news. :o

Wishing you a speedy recovery Donny. Been there and done it my friend - you just have to listen to the advice that you will be given at the hospital. Lets hope you don't have to have any excavation work done. Awrebest to you and your good lady wife.
