inexpensive pedal steel required

I would like to buy a pedal steel suitable for a beginner with not much money! I play guitar piano etc but have always had ambition for one day to have one any help or advice appriciated

hi Jim, I am afraid what you are looking for does not exist, the best bang for buck at the moment that I know of is Dave Seddons M C I . You may find something cheaper on EBay but unless you really know what you are looking at it is the road to frustration and regret. A playable steel nowadays will cost you in the region of 1000 pounds, and even at that price you need someone with you who plays to help you choose. If your budget will not stretch that far I would advice you to get a lap steel for starters and move on from there.
