It's an open A tuning with a D note on the bottom string.

Very nice. Lovely rich, deep tone. I bought a Supro very similar to this last year but I can't get it to sound like this. I think the pickups may need to be rewound.

Since I now have a Sigler pedal on my new Ben-Rom, I have a C6 lap steel that could do with a new tuning...
I'm thinking either Dobro tuning or open D... but can't make my mind up! (And knoe less than nothing about either!)
